Summary of Specifications:
"THE WORK SHALL BE PROVIDED BY A CONTRACTOR THAT HAS SPECIALIZED IN THE TYPE OF WORK SPECIFIED AND INDICATED ON THE DRAWINGS FOR AT LEAST THE PAST 5 YEARS. IF REQUESTED BY ARCHITECT, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL SUBMIT EVIDENCE OF SUCCESSFUL EXPERIENCE ON PROJECTS SIMILAR IN SIZE AND SCOPE OF THE WORK."

Work to be done includes the repair and restoration of existing historic wood windows, including but not limited to replacing broken panes, repairing damaged members such as sills and sash and frame components, weather stripping, painting, replacing hardware, reglazing and all related work. Bid documents may be obtained on or after Tuesday, August 29, 2006 from the office of the Procurement Division, Fifth Floor, City Hall, Ann Arbor, Michigan. A fee of $15.00 per set of documents will be charged. No refunds will be given for returned documents.
