The City of Ann Arbor is seeking the services of an agency (firm, nonprofit organization, private agency) in connection with the review and revision of the City’s non-union salary structure and update policies, procedures, protocols, and suggestions through the lens of the city’s mission, vision, goals, and compensation philosophy (provided in Section II, under 2. Objective). The selected agency will review the current structure and related procedures for compensation changes, structure movement, job modification, new job classification and structure maintenance. The selected agency will also review current non-union career progressions, as it relates to compensation and recommend a process for an equitable, inclusive, and sustainable process. The agency will also make recommendations on structural policy and procedural changes, ensuring internal and external equity. The Director of Human Resources and Labor Relations and the Director of Organizational Equity will oversee the direction and quality of work of this agency.
