The City of Berkley will utilize a qualifications-based selection process to secure a commercial roofing contractor to repair the Public Safety Building roof and provide an annual preventative maintenance program. The evaluation criteria will be based upon the requirements stated below. Only those proposals that meet the City’s selection criteria will be considered. This project is considered essential work and is expected to begin immediate upon City Council approval and execution of a contract

Attendance at a pre-bid meeting is mandatory prior to submitting a response to this RFP. The
mandatory pre-bid / pre-construction meeting will take place on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at
10:00am at the Berkley Department of Public Safety Building located at 2395 West 12 Mile
Road, Berkley, MI 48072. Contractors are to provide their own individual means of access to
inspect the roof during this pre-bid meeting.
