ITB-BIR DPS 0405 CHIPSL - 2004-2005 Double Chipseal

Summary of Specifications:
Sealed proposals endorsed "Double Chipseal Project 2004-2005" will be received at the office of the Assistant Director of the Department of Public Services, 851 S. Eton Road, Birmingham, Michigan 48009, until 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 10, 2005, after which time no further bids will be accepted. At this time, proposals received clearly marked "Double Chipseal Project 2004-2005" will be publicly opened and read. 

Proposals shall be received for the chipseal project for local streets throughout the city of Birmingham. The total of which shall consist of approximately 22,626 curb feet (approximately 75,157 square yards) of residential streets, averaging 28 feet in width. Individual streets may be from 30 feet to over 2,500 feet in length. The city reserves the right to modify the size of the project to accommodate funds and approval of assessment district by the Birmingham City Commission. The 2004-2005 Double Chipseal Project shall be started no sooner than July 1, 2005 and completed within 90 days of the project start.
