Summary of Specifications:
Sealed bids endorsed “ARMOR EXPRESS RAZOR BODY ARMOR” will be received by the City of Birmingham, Michigan at the Office of City Clerk, 151 Martin Street, P.O. Box 3001, Birmingham, MI, 48012 until Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at 10:00 a.m., at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read.
Bids from qualified vendors must include pricing for the purchase of (26) Armor Express Razor level ll concealable vests, each with (2) Revolution carriers and tails. Bids must also include pricing for (22) 7” x 10” ARA-SHOCK ICW plates and (4) 5” x 8” ARA-SHOCK ICW plates. All proposals must include total shipping costs and estimated delivery date.
Materials and bids shall be in submitted in accordance with the attached specifications and bid forms prepared by the Birmingham Police Department.
Specifications are available exclusively via the Michigan Intergovernmental Trade Network (MITN).*
Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked “ARMOR EXPRESS RAZOR BODY ARMOR”. The date and time of the bid opening must be marked on the envelope.
The City of Birmingham reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any irregularity in a bid when deemed in the best interest of the City.
The acceptance of any proposal made pursuant to this invitation shall not be binding upon the City until a written purchase order has been delivered to the successful bidder.
