Sealed proposals endorsed “Crestview Park Pickleball Courts”, will be received at the
Department of Public Services, 851 S. Eton Street, Birmingham, Michigan, 48009;
until July 14, 2022, 2:00PM EST, after which time bids will be publicly opened and
read. Results will be posted on MITN.
The City of Birmingham, Michigan is accepting sealed bid proposals from qualified
professional firms to perform a complete conversion of two (2) existing tennis courts to
six (6) pickleball courts at Crestview Park. Crestview Park is located at Southfield Rd and
Southlawn Blvd, between14 Mile Rd and Lincoln Avenue in Birmingham, MI.
This project includes the removal of existing tennis nets and posts, crack repair and the
application of new acrylic surfacing over the entire existing court surface, the supply and
installation of new pickleball posts, nets, and center straps with anchors for six (6) courts,
new 8’ fencing with top, bottom, and mid span rail, and one 4’ gate to separate three (3)
northern courts from three (3) southern courts, new markings for six (6) new pickleball
courts, and all related work. This work must be performed as specified accordance with
the specifications contained in the Request For Proposals (RFP).

The acceptance of any proposal made pursuant to this invitation shall not be binding upon
the City until an agreement has been executed.
