Summary of Specifications:
The City of Birmingham, Michigan is accepting sealed bid proposals from qualified professional firms to furnish all labor, materials, and equipment required for the procurement and installation, including accessories and incidentals necessary to provide fire protection to the Municipal Building in accordance with the specifications contained in the Request for Proposals (RFP). Sealed proposals endorsed “Fire Sprinkler System upgrade”, will be received at the Office of the City Clerk,151 Martin Street, PO Box 3001, Birmingham, Michigan, 48012; until 3:00 p.m., Monday, June 6, 2005, after which time bids will be publicly opened and read. Bidders will be required to attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting on May 19, 2005 at 9:00 a.m. at the Birmingham Municipal Building. Bidders must register for the mandatory pre-bid meeting and may request copies of the drawings ( If needed it) by May 17, 2005 by contacting Carlos Jorge at (248) 644-1800 ext. 342. The drawings will be provided at the mandatory pre-bid meeting.
