Summary of Specifications:
Sealed proposals endorsed “New Municipal Parking Lot”, will be received at the Office of the City Clerk,151 Martin Street, PO Box 3001, Birmingham, Michigan, 48012; until 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 19, 2006, after which time bids will be publicly opened and read. Bidders will be required to attend a pre-bid meeting on June 5, 2006 at 8:00 a.m. at the Birmingham Municipal Building. Bidders should register for the pre-bid meeting by 10:00 a.m. on June 1, 2006 by contacting Carlos Jorge at (248) 644-1800 ext. 342. The City of Birmingham, Michigan is accepting sealed bid proposals from qualified professional firms to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation and necessary supplies for the installation of a new concrete pavement in the rear parking lot of the Municipal Building in accordance with the specifications contained in the Request for Proposals (RFP). The RFP, including the Specifications, may be obtained online from the Michigan Inter-governmental Trade Network at http://www.mitn.info or at the City of Birmingham Maintenance Department, 151 Martin St., Birmingham, Michigan. The acceptance of any proposal made pursuant to this invitation shall not be binding upon the City until an agreement has been executed.
