Summary of Specifications:
Sealed proposals endorsed "Purchase and Installation of Astro-Foil Reflective Insulating Membrane on Ceiling and Walls of Studio Arena, May 30, 2006" will be received at the office of the Staff & Services Manager of Department of Public Services, 851 S. Eton Road, Birmingham, Michigan, until 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 30, 2006, after which time no further bids will be accepted, and at which time the bids received will be publicly opened and read.
The proposal will be for the supply, delivery, and installation of an astro-foil reflective insulating membrane on the ceilings and walls of the studio arena, herein described in the specifications. The project is located inside of the Birmingham Ice Sports Arena located at 2300 E. Lincoln, Birmingham MI between Fourteen Mile and Maple Road east of Eton Road. The acceptance of any proposal made pursuant to this invitation shall not be binding upon the City until an Agreement is executed by both parties. All proposals shall specify terms and show delivery date. The City Commission reserves the right to reject any or all proposals; waive any irregularity in the proposals received; and to accept any proposal which it shall deem to be most favorable to the interest of the City.
