Summary of Specifications:
Sealed proposals endorsed "Removal of Invasive Trees/Shrubs, 2005-2006" will be received at the office of the Assistant Director of the Department of Public Services, 851 S. Eton Road, Birmingham, Michigan, until 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 22, 2005, after which time no further bids will be accepted, and at which time the bids received will be publicly opened and read. 

The proposal will be for the removal of invasive woody trees and shrubs from Lower Baldwin and Linden Park, here in described in the specifications. Further, the stumps of the woody trees and shrubs are to be chemically treated. Lower Baldwin and Linden Park are located south of Maple Rd. (15 mile) at Baldwin Road. The section of this park for purposes of this bid is located on the west side of the Rouge River and this area constitutes approximately 6.932 acres. There is also an optional bid on Hidden Ravines property. This section for purposes of this bid is located on the east side of the Rouge River and constitutes approximately 2.1961 acres.
