REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL TO PROVIDE SNOW REMOVAL SERVICES The Birmingham Principal Shopping District (PSD), part of the City of Birmingham, Michigan, is accepting sealed bid proposals from private firms to provide store front snow removal services for a contract period of three (3) years, with an option for renewal. Sealed bid proposals should be sent to: Downtown Birmingham PSD 151 Martin Street Birmingham, MI 48009 PSD Storefront Snow Removal Services All bid proposals must be received by 4:00 PM on Wednesday, June 23, 2010. The bid opening will be at this time. Questions may be directed to John Heiney at the Downtown Birmingham PSD office at (248) 530-1200. A tabulation of bids and bidders shall be compiled and available for public inspection at the PSD Offices. The PSD reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals received, waive informalities, or accept any proposal it deems best. There is no expressed or implied obligation for the Downtown Birmingham PSD to reimburse responding firms for any expenses incurred in preparing proposals in response to this request. The cost of preparing and submitting a proposal is the responsibility of the bidder and shall not be chargeable in any manner to the PSD or the City of Birmingham. The acceptance of any proposal made pursuant to this invitation shall not be binding on the PSD or the City until a written Agreement has been executed between the parties.
