ITB-BIR ENG WILLITS SEWER 0708 - WILLITS EASEMENT SEWER REHABILITATION

Summary of Specifications:
Sealed proposals endorsed “Willits Easement Sewer Rehabilitation” will be received from contractors by the City of Birmingham, at the office of the City Clerk, located at 151 Martin Street, Birmingham, Michigan, until 2:00 p.m., on Monday, July 21, 2008. The proposals will be publicly read aloud at that time. 

The project will include rehabilitation of approximately 520 lineal feet of existing 15” diameter public combined sewer located in an easement area north of Willits, east of Greenwood, within the City of Birmingham. Sewer rehabilitation can be completed using relining or slip-lining methods. 

Plans and specifications for the project may be obtained from the City’s Engineering Department, (248) 644-3865, located on the second floor of City Hall, beginning Monday, July 7, 2008, for a non-refundable fee of $25.00 if picked up directly, or $35.00 if mailed. Payment shall be in the form of a check made payable to the City of Birmingham, which must be received prior to mailing of plans and specifications. Overnight delivery will be accommodated provided arrangements are made for the shipping cost to be paid through the purchaser’s account.
