RECEIPT OF PROPOSALS
Sealed bids for Pavement Preservation of Court Street from Belsay Road to Burton City Limits are invited and will be received by the City of Burton, a Michigan Governmental Corporation (hereinafter referred to as the Owner), at the Burton City Hall, 4303 S. Center Rd., Burton, Michigan, not later than 10:15 a.m. local time on March 31, 2025. Immediately thereafter all the bids received will be publicly opened and total prices read aloud in the Council Chambers. A copy of all Specifications and Contract Documents are on file for inspection at City of Burton Purchasing Department, 4303 S. Center Road, Burton, MI, alternatively available via electronic option can be requested by sending an email to: j.griffith@burtonmi.gov or p.wingblad@burtonmi.gov. Any bid received after the time and date specified will not be considered.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Bids are solicited under a general contract for the following approximate quantities of work:
1 LS TRAFFIC CONTROL
1 LS MOBILIZATION, 10% MAX
1 LS PAVEMENT CLEANING
1,300 TON HMA 5EML
1 EA PROJECT CLEAN-UP
Work shall include associated items such as Pavement Markings and other associated items of work.
