CITY OF BURTON
PAVEMENT MARKING PROGRAM
RECEIPT OF PROPOSALS
Sealed bids for Pavement Marking are invited and will be received by the City of Burton, a Michigan Governmental Corporation (hereinafter referred to as the Owner), at the Burton City Hall, 4303 S. Center Rd., Burton, Michigan, not later than 10:00 a.m. local time on Thursday February 27, 2025. Immediately thereafter all the bids received will be publicly opened and total prices read aloud in the Council Chambers.
A copy of all Specifications and Contract Documents are on file for inspection at City of Burton Purchasing Department, 4303 S. Center Road, Burton, MI or can be requested by sending an email to: j.griffith@burtonmi.gov.
Any bid received after the time and date specified will not be considered.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Bids are solicited under a general contract for the following approximate quantities of work:
1. Pavement Marking, Waterborne, 4-inch, Yellow 1,144,000 Ft
2. Pavement Marking, Waterborne, 4-inch, White 1,040,000 Ft
3. Pavement Marking, Waterborne, 6-inch, Yellow 14,610 Ft
Work also includes Railroad Crossings, School Zones, Stop Bars, Turn Arrows, Crosswalks, and other related Waterborne Pavement Markings Symbols and Linework.
