RECEIPT OF PROPOSALS
Sealed bids for a Special Assessment Local Street Paving Project are invited and will be received by the City of Burton, a Michigan Governmental Corporation (hereinafter referred to as the Owner), at the Burton City Hall, 4303 S. Center Rd., Burton, Michigan, not later than 10:00 a.m. local time on February 7, 2025. Immediately thereafter all bids received will be publicly opened and total prices read aloud in the Council Chambers. Any bid received after the time and date specified will not be considered.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Bids are solicited under a general contract for the following approximate quantities of work:
1. 1 LS TRAFFIC CONTROL
2. 10,750 SY HMA SURFACE REMOVE
3. 3,300 TON HMA 13A
4. 1 LS PROJECT CLEAN UP
5. 10 EA MAILBOX POST, REMOVE AND RESET
6. 380 FT CONCRETE CURB AND GUTTER
7. 3 EA DR COVER, ADJ, CASE 1
Work may also include associated items such as Subgrade Undercutting, Excavation Earth, Aggregate Base, Slope Restoration, and associated work.
