Summary of Specifications:
The City of Cadillac is requesting bids for the renovation of the Cadillac Performing Arts Pavilion. The project consists of reworking the pavilion site, removing and replacing the concrete slab floor of the pavilion, adding changing rooms to the pavilion, and adding new sound/lighting/projection to the pavilion. A single lump sum proposal is being entertained for all work including general contracting and all trades. A pre-bid meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at the Lakefront Park (site of the pavilion). Bidders are encouraged to attend. Bids shall be submitted on forms furnished by the architect as part of the Bidding Documents and shall be executed completely in strict accordance with the Bidding Documents. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope to the Director of Finance, Municipal Complex, 200 N. Lake Street, Cadillac, Michigan 49601 and clearly marked “PROPOSED RENOVATION – CITY OF CADILLAC PERFORMING ARTS PAVILION” by 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 18, 2015, at which time they will be publicly opened in the council chambers of the Cadillac Municipal Complex. THE CITY RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ACCEPT OR REJECT ANY OR ALL BIDS/PROPOSALS.
