The City of Cadillac is inviting bids for W. Mason Street & W. Bremer Street Improvements. Project will include removal and reconstruction of current streets and portions of City sidewalk, watermain installation, drainage, and other general improvements. Contract documents and detailed specifications may be obtained from the office of the project engineer: Prein & Newhof, 1202 N. Mitchell Street, Cadillac, MI 49601 (231) 468-3456 at a nonrefundable cost of $30.00 (thirty dollars) per mailed set of plans. An electronic copy of the complete set of specifications is available at www.bidnetdirect.com/mitn or from the City Clerk’s Office, Cadillac Municipal Complex, 200 N. Lake Street, Cadillac, MI 49601 and must be reviewed prior to the submission of any bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory performance bond and labor and material bond, each in the amount of 100% of the contract price.
Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope to the Director of Finance, Municipal Complex, 200 N. Lake Street, Cadillac, Michigan 49601 and clearly marked “W. MASON STREET AND W. BREMER STREET IMPROVEMENTS” by 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 27, 2020, at which time they will be publicly opened at the Cadillac Municipal Complex.
