The City of Cadillac is inviting bids for the White Pine Trail Extension and Trailhead Project. Project will include HMA path construction, curb and gutter, sidewalk and sidewalk ramps, storm sewer, and a trailhead with various amenities, including all necessary appurtenances and restoration. Contract documents and detailed specifications may be obtained from the office of the project engineer: Prein & Newhof, 100 East Chapin Street, Suite A, Cadillac, MI 49601 (231) 468-3456 at a nonrefundable cost of $25.00. A $15 charge will be added to all mailed sets of plans. An electronic copy of the complete set of specifications is available at www.bidnetdirect.com/mitn or from the City Clerk’s Office, Cadillac Municipal Complex, 200 N. Lake Street, Cadillac, MI 49601 and must be reviewed prior to the submission of any bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory performance bond and labor and material bond, each in the amount of 100% of the contract price. The work to be performed under this contract will be financed and paid for in part by grant funds received from the Michigan Department of Natural Resources Trust Fund.
Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope to the Director of Finance, Municipal Complex, 200 N. Lake Street, Cadillac, Michigan 49601 and clearly marked “WHITE PINE TRAIL EXTENSION AND TRAILHEAD BID” by 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 15, 2020, at which time they will be publicly opened at the Cadillac Municipal Complex.
