Description

The Project consists of removal, transportation, and disposal of iron sludge in the backwash pond, lagoon berm repairs and restoration.

The Contractor shall be responsible for the removal, transportation, and disposal of all accumulated iron sludge from the backwash pond to the land fill, partial and complete repair of the clay liner and restoration. The City has performed sampling of the iron sludge and Waste Management has stated that it will accept the waste at the Woodland Meadows location in Wayne, Ml. All work shall be in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Prior to submitting a proposal, the Contractor shall visit the site to become familiar with the project and site constraints. The Contractor shall certify on the Bid that he/she is familiar with the Work as specified herein. Bids will be received at 8123 Main St., 2nd Floor, Dexter, MI 48130 until 10:000am on Friday, October 1, 2021.
