RFP FY 2022-2 - Engineering Services for FY 2022 CMAQ Traffic Signal Optimization on Albert Ave.

The City of East Lansing is requesting qualified civil engineering consultants to submit proposals for performing survey, design and inspection services for the FY 2022 Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality (CMAQ) traffic signal optimization improvements along the Albert Avenue corridor.  The identified project is currently programmed in the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) to receive Federal Traffic Safety funding and local agency funding to improve existing traffic signal operations along the Albert Avenue corridor spanning 0.47 miles.  The scope of work includes completing a topographic survey of existing conditions, review of existing signal cabinet timing and operations, design, preparing final plans, specifications, engineering estimate, inspection of the project and record drawings upon project completion.  The proposed limits of traffic signal optimization on Albert Avenue are from Abbot Road to Collingwood Drive.
