Summary of Specifications:
The City of Farmington Hills is accepting qualification responses from body armor supply companies for Ballistic Panels, Trauma plates, concealable carriers and external (overt) carriers. The external (overt) carrier should be a uniform (non-tactical) style, preferably 511 Midnight Navy (750) in color. The City plans to purchase Ballistic panels and trauma plates that can be transferred safely & securely from concealable carriers to exterior (overt carriers.) It is our intent to review all responses with the ultimate goal of targeting an invitation to bid to pre-qualified vendors.
