Summary of Specifications:
The Alliance of Rouge Communities (ARC) is seeking an Executive Director to support to the member communities to encourage watershed-wide cooperation and mutual support to meet water quality permit requirements and to restore beneficial uses of the river to the area residents. The Executive Director, and support staff, will provide the leadership, and administrative and technical services necessary to accomplish the ongoing ARC goals and projects. The Alliance of Rouge Communities (ARC) is soliciting proposals from individuals and/or consulting firms to provide an Executive Director to provide various administrative and technical support services for this public watershed entity. The ARC will select an Individual, Organization, Consultant, or a team of these for the support services identified in this request for proposals for a three (3)-year period beginning on January 1, 2013 and ending December 31, 2015. At its discretion, the ARC may negotiate with the aforementioned for continuing services on an annual basis for similar services up to three (3) subsequent fiscal years. Any existing grant funded projects that extend beyond December 31, 2012 will continue to be implemented under their existing contracts. Existing grant funded projects that extend beyond December 31, 2012 will continue to be implemented under the existing contracts until they are completed.
