A. Storage
We currently have an HP BK716A P4300 G2 7.2TB SAS two node cluster at City Hall that is being replicated to an identical cluster at a nearby disaster recovery site. We want to bring the two node cluster from the DR site to City Hall and make a four node cluster. We then want to purchase two BV890SB HP P4300 G2 16TB MDL SAS SAN Bundle two node starters to build a four node cluster at the DR site. Relocation, installation and configurations for integrating into our current system with replication to the DR site needs to be completed by vendor. We are running VMware vSphere ESXi 4.1 with SRM.
B.Wireless
We currently have an HP ProCurve MSM765 zl wireless controller integrated as part of an HP ProCurve 8212zl. We are licensed for forty access points. We are using fifteen at city hall and want to expand the usage to eleven other locations on our ATT opt-e-man network. In addition to the hardware, we need configuration on the Wireless controller, data switches and routers along the path to the access points. All routers are Cisco, nine 2800 series and two 3800 series. There is a Cisco ASA-5510 firewall. Most data switches are Nortel Bay Stack 470-48t’s, there are also Cisco, Extreme and HP ProCurve swiches.
Wiring of the access points will be completed by a separate vendor.
C. Data Switch replacements/upgrades
Listed in the pricing section are data switches replacements for City Hall, Police, Costick Center, Fire Station 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, Ice Arena, DPW and Longacre. Work will include providing, installing and configuring all the new data switches.
C. Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 and SQL 2008
We need to upgrade a Windows two node cluster from Windows 2003 enterprise to the Windows 2008 r2 enterprise. We then need to upgrade SQL 2000 to SQL 2008 in a fail over cluster. The City will may purchase the licenses from another source.
