ITB-fh-07-08-1403 - Revisions to HVAC system at the Police Department Firing Range

Summary of Specifications:
The City of Farmington Hills requires revisions to the HVAC system at the Police Department firing range. The Firing Range is located in the lower level of the Police Department, 31655 W. 11 Mile Road. The HVAC system has not been in operation since December of 2006 due to lead contamination. The Police Department contracted with NTH Consultants to complete an environmental study and upon its completion retained Environmental Maintenance Engineers to abate all lead contamination. This project was completed in the summer of 2007. A report explaining the entire process which includes before & after testing of the areas will be made available for review to the awarded contractor. In October of 2007 NTH consultants partnered with MEP Engineers to complete a study of the HVAC system and prepare documents for purposes of bidding out revisions to the HVAC system. NTH Consultants and MEP Engineers will stay on as project consultants throughout this project to ensure all requirements are met.
