Summary of Specifications:
The proposed project consists of installing new water main utilizing directional drilling techniques or the installation of cured-in-place pipe liners within existing pipe underneath the intersection of Middlebelt Road and Maplewood Avenue, the intersection of Middlebelt Road and Dawson Avenue and within an easement on Brown Street east of Hubbard Avenue. Bids will be received for both alternatives and the alternative with the lowest bid received will be awarded. Contractors may choose to bid on one or both alternatives. The anticipated start date, weather permitting, is June 19, 2017 and substantially completed by August 15, 2017 with final completion by August 31, 2017.
