Garden City Police Department is requesting bids to perform listed services to fulfill the
GCPD Patrol Vehicle Upgrade Program – 2018.

Objective
Remove the following old equipment and replace with new equipment in current marked patrol vehicles in our fleet.

Overheads/light bar – remove current Federal Signals LEGEND light bar and replace with WHELEN Justice 50” LED red/blue light bar.
Computer mount – remove current laptop computer mount and replace with HAVIS heavy duty vehicle mount – pole, slide out swing arm, etc. Remove laptop from old mount and place in new mount prior to return.
Laptop modem – remove 3G modem replace with 4G modem.
Radar Unit – remove old radar (various brands) replace with KUSTOM SIGNALS Raptor RP-1 radar unit w/two antennae – placement of radar unit should be similar in all vehicles of the same make/model.

The objective of this REQUEST FOR BID is to locate a source that will provide the best overall value to Garden City Police Department. While price is a significant factor, cost as well as other criteria will form the basis of our award decision, as more fully described in the Evaluation Factors section of the attached request for bid.
