2021 HMA RECONSTRUCTION FULL DEPTH RECLAMATION

This proposed project involves the full depth reclamation, Portland cement stabilization and
resurfacing of streets in the City of Garden City. This project will also involve the establishment of
positive drainage in the greenbelt area, storm sewer, concrete ROW driveways, and ADA sidewalks.
The anticipated start date is April 15, 2021 and completion by September 1, 2021 with complete restoration and final payment by September 30, 2021.
SEALED BIDS will be accepted at the Office of the City Clerk, 6000 Middlebelt, Garden
City, MI 48135. Bid must be clearly labeled “2021 HMA RECONSTRUCTION FULL DEPTH
RECLAMATION BID”
Two (2) copies of the bid proposals will be received by:

All RFI’s shall be emailed to Alan J. Cruz, PE, ajcruz@hengineers.com. (Only emails accepted) The deadline for Request for Information (RFI) is Friday, February 19, 2021, 10 a.m. EST.
The Contract Documents may be examined at the City of Garden City Clerk’s Office, Garden City. Contract Documents will be available starting Tuesday, February 2, 2021 after 1:00pm and can be downloaded directly from BidNet.
Bidders must deposit, with their bid, surety in the form of a certified check, bank draft, or bid bond, in the sum of five percent (5%) of the amount of the proposal. The OWNER reserves the right to waive any information or to reject any and/or all bids. Bidders may not withdraw their bid within 60 days after the date of bid opened.
