The City of Garden City is accepting proposals for the
CITY PARK FIT COURT REINFORCED CONCRETE PAD
in the City of Garden City, Wayne County, Michigan
The proposed project consists of the placement of a reinforced concrete pad with anchors to support fitness equipment being installed by others at the City Park located on Cherry Hill Road east of Merriman Road. The anticipated start date is no earlier than August 13, 2018 with final completion by September 7, 2018.

The Contract Documents may be examined at the City of Garden City Clerk’s Office, Garden City, Michigan, Hennessey Engineers, Inc., Southgate, Michigan, Construction Association of Michigan, Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, Construction Journal LTD, Stuart, Florida and CDC News Construction Journal, Vero Beach, Florida
Contract Documents will be available starting Thursday, June 28, 2018 after 1:00pm and may be purchased at: Hennessey Engineers, Inc., 13500 Reeck Road, Southgate, Michigan, 48195 upon payment of a fee of $25.00 per set, $35.00 if mailed (cash or check only), which is nonrefundable. Also, plans are now available on CD for a fee of $15.00 per CD or if mailed, $25.00.
Bidders must deposit, with their bid, surety in the form of a certified check, bank draft, or bid bond, in the sum of five percent (5%) of the amount of the proposal. The OWNER reserves the right to waive any information or to reject any and/or all bids. Bidders may not withdraw their bid within 60 days after the date of bid opened.
The Contractor shall be aware that per the City of Garden City Ordinance No. 91-001, no less than the prevailing salaries and wages noted in the General Wage Decision (Federal Wage Determination) shall be paid on this Project.
