The City of Garden City is accepting proposals for the
INKSTER ROAD TREE PLANTING PROJECT
in Garden City, Wayne County, Michigan
The project attached is for the planting of 18 trees in the green belt on the west side of Inkster Road
from Cherry Hill to Marquette. The anticipated start date, weather permitting, is April 2020 and with
final completion by May 2020.
Two (2) copies of the bid proposals will be received by:

The Contract Documents may be examined at the City of Garden City Clerk’s Office, Hennessey Engineers, Inc., Southgate, Michigan, Construction Association of Michigan, Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, Construction Journal LTD, Stuart, Florida and CDC News Construction Journal, Vero Beach, Florida
Contract Documents will be available starting Friday, February 7, 2020 after 1:00pm and can be obtained electronically by emailing Alan J. Cruz, PE at Hennessey Engineers, Inc. ajcruz@hengineers.com between the hours of 8:00am and 4:30pm Monday through Friday. There is no cost to obtaining the contract documents.
Bidders must deposit, with their bid, surety in the form of a certified check, bank draft, or bid bond, in the sum of five percent (5%) of the amount of the proposal. The OWNER reserves the right to waive any information or to reject any and/or all bids. Bidders may not withdraw their bid within 60 days after the date of bid opened.
The Contractor shall be aware that per the City of Garden City Ordinance No. 91-001, no less than the prevailing salaries and wages noted in the General Wage Decision (Federal Wage Determination) shall be paid on this Project.
