NOTICE TO BIDDERS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that SEALED BIDS will be received at the Office of the Clerk/Treasurer, located at, 6000 Middlebelt Road, Garden City, Michigan 48135, on or before September 4th, 2018 at 1:00 PM for the following item:
STREET SWEEPING SERVICES (3 YEAR BID)
The City of Garden City is accepting sealed bids for Street Sweeping Services. Work will include sweeping the local roads (66 road miles, 132 lane miles), three (3) times a year. The contract shall commence upon signing and continue for a term of up to three (3) years.
The purpose of this bid is to secure a company for street sweeping. The City reserves the right to reject any/or all bids and to accept/reject partial bids. The bid award may not be based solely upon the lowest pricing, other factors such as references, equipment, qualifications, and the needs of the City may be considered.
Insurance Requirements
All successful bidders must provide the City of Garden City with a certificate of Insurance that meets all City of Garden City requirements. Bidder must also provide all licenses as required by law.
Bidder Qualifications and Requirements
The following must be included in your bid:
- Pricing - Provide a price for the sweeping of all 66 road miles of local roads, within one to two weeks, broken out for a three (3) year contract
- Please include up to 3 references with current contact information on past and/or current accounts
- Include a list of equipment that will be used to complete assigned work
- Number of years in the business
Bids should be submitted in a sealed envelope marked sealed bid for: “Street Sweeping Services”
