projects until 10:00:00 AM local time on THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 29, 2024 at the offices of the Purchasing Department, 161 W. Michigan Avenue, 10th Floor, Jackson, Michigan.
The work includes the following partial listing of items with approximate quantities:
Private Property Mowing: Mow and remove grass and weeds on private properties located at various sites within the City of Jackson. Estimated number of properties: 1 - 5,000 square feet lots = 120, 5,001 - 10,000 square feet lots = 200, 10,001 - 20,000 square feet lots = 50, 20,001 - 43,560 square feet lots = 20, Over 43,561 square feet = 10 & Extra Work/hourly rate = 150 hours
City Owned Lot Mowing – Part A: The work shall consist of all labor, materials and equipment necessary to mow and remove grass and weeds on approximately 305 City-Owned properties located at various sites within the City of Jackson every 2 to 3 weeks, as necessary.
City Owned Lot Mowing – Part B: The work shall consist of all labor, materials and equipment necessary to mow and remove grass and weeds on approximately 303 City-Owned properties located at various sites within the City of Jackson every 2 to 3 weeks, as necessary.
City Grounds Maintenance: The work shall consist of all labor, materials and equipment necessary to mow and remove grass and weeds on approximately 1,211,756 SF of property located at various sites within the City of Jackson every 2 to 3 weeks, as necessary.
Parks, Cemetery And Downtown Mowing And Irrigation: The work shall consist of all labor, materials and equipment necessary to mow and remove grass and weeds on identified City properties located in six wards of the City. Contractor to have five years of commercial mowing and irrigation contract service experience.
Cemetery Mowing, Irrigation, Trimming, Edging & Weed Control The work shall consist of all labor, materials and equipment necessary to mow and remove grass and weeds on identified City properties located in six wards of the City. Contractor to have five years of commercial mowing, license herbicide applicator and irrigation contract service experience.
Downtown Mowing, Irrigation, Trimming, Edging & Weed Control the work shall consist of all labor, materials and equipment necessary to mow and remove grass and weeds on identified City properties located in six wards of the City. Contractor to have five years of commercial mowing, license herbicide applicator and irrigation contract service experience.
