The City of Jackson will receive sealed bids for the 2024 WATER SERVICE REPLACEMENT project until 10:00:00 AM local time on TUESDAY, MARCH 12, 2024 at the offices of the Purchasing Department, 161 W. Michigan Avenue, 10th Floor, Jackson, Michigan.
The work includes the following partial listing of items with approximate quantities:
The replacement of about 68 lead services lines and verification of about 25 water service lines with associated pavement, sidewalk and turf restoration over 1.1 miles on Martin Luther King Jr Drive from South Street to Morrell Street and on Steward Avenue from Hallett Street to Lansing Avenue in the City of Jackson, Jackson County, Michigan.
Bidders may obtain packets containing Instructions to Bidders, Proposal Forms, Specifications and Contract Forms from the city’s website at http://www.cityofjackson.org/rfq.

Bidders will be required to meet the City of Jackson's prequalification requirements prior to bid opening. Bidders must be prequalified for Watermain (I).
