Bidders may obtain packets containing Instructions to Bidders, Proposal Forms, Specifications and Contract Forms from the city’s website at http://www.cityofjackson.org/rfq.
Prospective bidders are invited to attend a MANDATORY pre-bid meeting on TUESDAY, 9/24/2024 at 12:00:00 PM, 2025 - 407 N PLEASANT ST - ELECTRICAL UPGRADE. The Rehab Inspector will have the discretion to limit the number of bidders who enter the property at the scheduled bid walk through. The City of Jackson and homeowner will provide one opportunity where the subject property will be made available for contractor review and inspection of both the exterior and interior to improve the understanding of the project’s scope of work and allow contractor to submit an informed bid.
Bidders will be required Rights Commission orle VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Title VIII of the Civil Rights Act of 1968 (Public Law 90-284), the Michigan Civil Rights, Act 453 of 1976, the Michigan Fair Employment Practice Act (MCL 423.301-423.311), related statues and implementing rules and regulations, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and the rules of the Michigan Civil Rights Commission, or demonstrate the existence with standards for equal employment opportunity established by the City of Jackson.
