The City of Jackson will receive sealed bids for the ENG 22-02 DWSRF PHASE 1 WATER MAIN REPLACEMENTS - WEST DIVISION project until 2:00 PM local time on WEDNESDAY, APRIL 19, 2023 at the offices of the Purchasing Department, 161 W. Michigan Avenue, 10th Floor, Jackson, Michigan. Bids will be publicly opened at 3:00 PM.
The work includes the following partial listing of items with approximate quantities:
0.53 MILES OF WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT AND STREET RECONSTRUCTION. FULL-DEPTH PAVEMENT REPLACEMENT WITH NEW AGGREGATE BASE AND HMA PAVEMENT ON BIDDLE STREET FROM GREENWOOD TO WILLIAMS, GRINNELL STREET FROM NORFOLK TO WILDWOOD, McBRIDE STREET FROM FOURTH TO FIRST AND WILLIAMS STREET FROM BIDDLE TO WILKINS IN THE CITY OF JACKSON, JACKSON COUNTY, MICHIGAN. MAJOR BID ITEMS INCLUDE PAVT AND HMA SURFACE, REM, MOD - 9,385 SYD, AGGREGATE BASE, 8 INCH, 21AA MODIFIED - 8,815 SYD, WATER MAIN, 8-INCH - 2,901 FT, AND HMA, 13A - 2,072 TON.

Bidders will be required to meet the City of Jackson's prequalification requirements prior to bid opening. Bidders must be prequalified for Streets (A) and Watermain (I).
