The City of Jackson will receive sealed bids for the ENG 22-09 PERRINE STREET RECONSTRUCTION project until 9:00 AM local time on TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 6, 2022 at the offices of the Purchasing Department, 161 W. Michigan Avenue, 10th Floor, Jackson, Michigan. Bids will be publicly opened at 10:00 AM.
The work includes the following partial listing of items with approximate quantities: 0.5 MILES OF WATER MAIN AND SANITARY SEWER REPLACEMENT AND STREET RECONSTRUCTION FULL-DEPTH PAVEMENT REPLACEMENT WITH NEW AGGREGATE BASE AND HMA PAVEMENT ON PERRINE STREET FROM MICHIGAN AVENUE TO BURR STREET IN THE CITY OF JACKSON, JACKSON COUNTY, MICHIGAN. MAJOR BID ITEMS INCLUDE: PAVT AND HMA SURFACE, REM, MODIFIED - 6103 SYD, AGGREGAGE BASE, 8 INCH, 21AA, MODIFIED - 6103 SYDS, SEWER ITEMS - 1702 FT, WATER MAIN ITEMS - 1778 FT, LEAD SERVICE REPLACEMENTS - 12 EACH, HMA, 13A - 1,410 TON, SIDEWALK ITEMS - 7477 SFT, CONCRETE CURB AND GUTTER - 710 FT.

Any questions concerning contract documents or specifications will be addressed at this meeting. This will give companies contemplating submitting a bid a chance to examine the locations of the proposed service/goods and receive interpretations of the contract documents.
Bidders will be required to meet the City of Jackson's prequalification requirements prior to bid opening. Bidders must be prequalified for Streets (A) and Watermain (I).
