The City of Jackson will receive sealed bids for the ENG 24-14 WATER TREATMENT PLANT SANITARY SEWER REPLACEMENT project until 10:00:00 AM local time on TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 10, 2024 at the offices of the Purchasing Department, 161 W. Michigan Avenue, 8th Floor, Jackson, Michigan.
The work includes the following partial listing of items with approximate quantities:
330 feet of sanitary sewer replacement within the grounds of the City of Jackson Water Treatment Plant and 105 feet of sanitary sewer pipe rehabilitation by cured-in-place pipe liner under the adjacent railroad in the City of Jackson, Jackson County, Michigan. Major bid items include: Dewatering, Aggregate Base, 8 inch, 21AA, Modified - 970 syd, HMA, 13A - 320 ton, Sanitary Sewer Liner, CIPP, 18 inch - 105 feet, Sanitary Sewer PS115 PVC, 18 inch - 330 feet, Sanitary Manhole, 48 inch dia - 3 each.
Bidders may obtain packets containing Instructions to Bidders, Proposal Forms, Specifications and Contract Forms from the city’s website at http://www.cityofjackson.org/rfq.
Any questions concerning contract documents or specifications will be addressed at this meeting. This will give companies contemplating submitting a bid a chance to examine the locations of the proposed service/goods and receive interpretations of the contract documents.
Bidders will be required to meet the City of Jackson's prequalification requirements prior to bid opening. Bidders must be prequalified for SEWER SHALLOW(G).
