The City of Jackson will receive sealed bids for the HAULING AND LAND APPLICATION OF WASTEWATER BIOSOLIDS FOR THE CITY OF JACKSON project until 1:30:00 PM local time on TUESDAY, JANUARY 10, 2023 at the offices of the Purchasing Department, 161 W. Michigan Avenue, 10th Floor, Jackson, Michigan. Bids will be publicly opened at 2:30 pM .
The work includes the following partial listing of items with approximate quantities:
THE WORK INCLUDES HAULING AND APPLICATOIN OF LIQUID BIOSOLIDS OF 5,000,000 GALLONS AND DRYING BED SOLIDS OF 2,000 TONS. IN ADDITIONAL FULFILLING ALL REGULATORY OBLIGATIONS ASSOCIATED WITH THE ACTIVITY.
Bidders may obtain packets containing Instructions to Bidders, Proposal Forms, Specifications and Contract Forms from the city’s website at http://www.cityofjackson.org/rfq.
Prospective bidders are invited to attend a pre-bid meeting on MONDAY, DECEMBER 12, 2022 at 10:00:00 AM, JACKSON WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT, 2995 LANSING AVENUE, JACKSON, MI 49202.
Any questions concerning contract documents or specifications will be addressed at this meeting. This will give companies contemplating submitting a bid a chance to examine the locations of the proposed service/goods and receive interpretations of the contract documents.
