DOOLEY PARK DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT

Sealed proposals for the Dooley Park Drainage Improvements Project will be received by the
City of Livonia via the MITN website (www.mitn.info) until 2:00 P.M., Local Time, on Tuesday,
October 19, 2021 at which time the RFB’s will be recorded by the Purchasing Manager and the
City Clerk. Due to building restrictions because of the pandemic, bid opening results will be
completed via Zoom meeting and posted to the MITN website. Bids shall be in accordance with
the requirements of this notice in order to be deemed “responsive”. Late bids will not be
considered.

Instructions to bidders and specifications may be obtained by registering with the Michigan
Inter-Governmental Trade Network (MITN) at www.mitn.info. All addendums will be posted on the MITN website. Any information not obtained from the MITN website should not be relied upon.
All bids must be submitted electronically in Adobe Acrobat format uploaded to the MITN (www.mitn.info) website.

The City of Livonia seeks proposals for the following:
Alternate “A”: Placement of 450 l.f. 10” SLCPP Storm Sewer, 1 - 4’ Dia. Catch Basin, 6 –
2’ Dia. Inlets, Removal and Replacement of 200 s.f. Asphalt Pathway, Restoration of
Disturbed Areas, and other miscellaneous items of work.
Alternate “B”: Placement of 140 l.f. 10” SLCPP Storm Culverts with End-Sections, 375
l.f. of Ditch Installation, Removal and Replacement of 200 s.f. Asphalt Pathway,
Restoration of Disturbed Areas, and other miscellaneous items of work.

Each proposal shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the
proposal, payable to the City of Livonia on the Michigan Standard Form, issued by an approved
Surety Company, as security for the acceptance of the contract.
