Sealed proposals for the Glendale Archery Range Parking and Pathway Installation Project
will be received by the City of Livonia via the MITN website (www.mitn.info) until 2:00 P.M.,
Local Time, on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at which time the RFB’s will be recorded by the
Purchasing Manager and the City Clerk. Due to building restrictions because of the pandemic,
bid opening results will be posted to the MITN website. Bids shall be in accordance with the
requirements of this notice in order to be deemed “responsive”. Late bids will not be considered.
Instructions to bidders and specifications may be obtained by registering with the Michigan
Inter-Governmental Trade Network (MITN) at www.mitn.info. All addendums will be posted on the MITN website. Any information not obtained from the MITN website should not be relied upon.
All bids must be submitted electronically in Adobe Acrobat format.
There will be a mandatory pre-bid meeting to be held at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, May 26,
2020. Interested bidders shall congregate prior to the meeting time at the archery range located
at 32710 Glendale Avenue. (+/- ¼ mile east of Farmington Road)
The City of Livonia seeks proposals for the following:
Excavation for stone base; placement of 160 c.y. 21AA crushed concrete aggregate
base; placement of 4” and 6” thick concrete pavement (525 s.y. – 4”, 50 s.y. – 6”);
restoration and other miscellaneous items of work.
The Proposed improvements will be funded through the Department of Housing and
Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grant funds authorized by
HUD under Title 1 of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974 and 1977, as
amended and as such, prospective bidders are hereby advised that this project is subject
to Department of Labor Davis-Bacon Wage Rates and Section 3 regulations.
It is the intent of this contract to complete all work between June 1 and August 29, 2020. (or within 60 days of Notice to Proceed)
