REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
PLAYGROUND RENOVATIONS
Sealed proposals for PLAYGROUND RENOVATIONS will be received via the MITN website (www.mitn.info) no later than March 23, 2021. There will be a public reading of proposals received via Zoom. The names of firms submitting proposals shall be read aloud and recorded. Late bids will not be considered. Physical bid submissions will not be accepted.

There will be a mandatory pre-proposal meeting to be held at 10:00 a.m., MARCH 11, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. local time via Zoom. Proposals will not be considered from firms who do not attend the mandatory pre-proposal meeting.

Instructions to bidders and specifications may be obtained by registering with the Michigan Inter-Governmental Trade Network (MITN) at www.mitn.info

Each proposal shall be accompanied by a BID BOND in the amount of percent (5 on the Michigan Standard Form, issued by an approved Surety Company, must be furnished.

All bids shall be opened publicly at the date and time specified.  Each bid shall be recorded together with the name of the bidder.  Bids shall be in accordance with the requirements of this notice in order to be deemed “responsive.”

PDF files uploaded to the MITN website shall include the name of the vendor for ease of identification.

No bidder may withdraw his proposal within one hundred twenty (120) calendar days after the date set for opening thereof.  The right to accept any bid, to reject any or all proposals and to waive irregularities in bidding is reserved by the City of Livonia.  Portions of this Contract may be deleted due to unforeseen circumstances without compensation.  Acceptance of any bid does not constitute a binding agreement until a written Contract is signed by both parties.
