DPW444 - Paper shredding - Paper Shredding services for 2020 Paper Shredding Day

Portable paper shredding / secure document shredding services for the annual Paper Shredding / Tire Collection day to be held in the Department of Public Works yard, 12973 Farmington Rd., Livonia, MI. on September 19, 2020 from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. 

In 2019, approximately 450 residents used the service.  Each resident could have up to four (4) 24 gallon recycling bins worth of documents shredded as part of the service. 

The event takes place in the DPW yard.  Residents use the service by driving vehicles into the yard, and moving material to be shredding from their vehicle.  The resident has the option to view the shredding of their documents while it occurs.  The contractor will supply enough equipment to service 450 cars with the maximum amount of material.
