MAJOR QUANTITIES INCLUDE: Remove and Dispose Existing Curb and Gutter 5,559.6 LFT Cold Mill Pavement 11,958.0 SYD Furnish and Install MDOT F-4 Curb and Gutter 5,008.4 LFT Furnish and Install MDOT 13A Bituminous Pavement Leveling 1,198.3 TON Furnish and Install MDOT 13A Bituminous Pavement Wearing 1,198.3 TON(Total of all 5 geographic work locations) The Proposal and Contract Documents, including plans and specifications, may be obtained from the Michigan Intergovernmental Trade Network (MITN) at http://www.mitn.info. Bidders desiring a hard copy of these documents may obtain them from the Department of Engineering, 120 East First Street, Monroe, Michigan 48161 by making a deposit of FIFTY DOLLARS ($ 50.00 ) for each set of plans and specifications. IF PLANS ARE TO BE MAILED, ADD FIFTEEN DOLLARS ($15.00). No refunds will be issued for the return of any plans and specifications. The City of Monroe reserves the right to accept any proposal, to reject any proposal or to waive defects in proposals. A bid bond or certified check made payable to the City of Monroe in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the bid must be deposited by each bidder with his bid. Bidders shall note that Prevailing Wage provisions apply to this contract, and are contained within Division J of the contract. This contract consists of work in five (5) geographic locations, and it is the intention of the City of Monroe to award all as a part of this contract. However, should funding constraints dictate following bidding, one or more locations are subject to deletion from the contract award.
