The Monroe Metropolitan Wastewater Treatment Facility is seeking bids for the replacement of bubbler, sump pump, and conduit lines at 7 different locations. 1) Monroe Wastewater Plant- 2205 E. Front St. Monroe, MI. 48161 2) Sunset Pump Station- 1060 Sunset Blvd. Monroe, MI. 48162 3) Detroit Beach Pump Station- 2850 Harborview, Monroe, MI. 48162 4) North Custer Pump Station- 3200 North Custer, Monroe, MI. 48162 5) Bates Lane Pump Station- 1242 Bates Lane, Monroe, MI. 48162 6) Keegan Road Pump Station- 15756 Keegan Rd. Monroe, MI. 48162 7) Raisinville North Pump Station- 1000 S. Raisinville Rd. Monroe, MI. 48162 • Each station has different configurations where the bidder is advised to visit all sites so as to understand the project scope for each installation. • Sites 1, 2 & 3 will not require any excavating; however, it will require coring holes from the dry well to the wet well. • The remaining sites will require excavating, coring into the wet wells, & drilling into the drywells. • Please note the size and amount of lines required for each site discussed below. • All lines and hardware are to be stainless steel, type 304. • Confined space entries will be required at all sites. The contractor must coordinate all entries with the Wastewater staff so flow can be controlled to a minimum. Proper MIOSHA “Permit Required Confined Entry” procedures must be adhered too.
