Interested consultants should provide the following information: (1) a brief description and history of the consulting firm including name, address, telephone number, and email address for the primary contact person and location of office where work will be performed, (2) FAA / MDOT Aeronautics knowledge and experience, (3) firm’s experience in aviation consulting in the past five years, including a summary of similar project experience, (4) references for airport projects and services completed in the past five years (include airport contact names and phone numbers), (5) names and qualifications of personnel who will work on the projects, (6) summary of work experience in Michigan, and (7) summary of familiarity of Monroe Custer Airport. Proposals must provide assurance that the consultant has in place all policies and practices required of companies to be in compliance with state or federal laws and regulations that apply to government contracts. There is no page limit on proposals, and firms are free to included additional information not necessarily listed above that they feel is germane to the selection process.
Statements shall be submitted electronically in pdf format through the Michigan Intergovernmental Trade Network (MITN) / Bid Net Direct at https://www.bidnetdirect.com/mitn. Statements must be submitted no later than 10:00 A.M. on Monday, March 28, and will be opened and acknowledged at 11:00 A.M. via Zoom teleconference the same day. To be considered, submittals must include all information specified in these instructions. Liability insurance must be provided by the consultant in the minimum amount of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate, and evidence of this should be submitted in the statement.
