Sealed proposals for the construction of:
DUNBAR ROAD WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT
will be received by the City Clerk-Treasurer in the City Hall at 120 East First Street, Loranger Square, Monroe, Michigan 48161, until 10:00 A.M., LOCAL TIME, Monday the 29th day of July , 20 13. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud by the City Clerk at 10:00 A.M., LOCAL TIME, the same day, in the City Clerk-Treasurer's Office.
MAJOR QUANTITIES INCLUDE: F & I 12” Fusible C-900 DR14 Water Main, Pipe Burst 5865.0 LFT F & I 2” Temporary Polyethylene Water Service Line 5988.0 LFT Reconnect Water Service, Complete 24.0 EACH
The Proposal and Contract Documents, including plans and specifications, are on file and may be examined at the office of the City Engineer, 120 East First Street, Monroe, Michigan 48161. Copies thereof can be obtained from the Engineering Department of the City of Monroe by making a deposit of THIRTY DOLLARS ($ 30.00 ) for each set of plans and specifications. IF PLANS ARE TO BE MAILED, ADD FIVE DOLLARS ($5.00). FIFTEEN dollars ($ 15.00 ) will be refunded for each set of documents returned in good condition (unmarked) within thirty (30) days after the bidding date. The full amount of the deposit will be refunded to each bidder for only the one set of documents upon which a bona fide proposal is submitted to the Owner.
