Summary of Specifications:
The project includes the removal of two low-head dams in the City of Monroe (Dams 2 and 3) and construction of rock arch rapids at two low-head dams (Dams 1 and 6). Major items of construction include concrete dam removal, repair of adjacent concrete retaining wall and sanitary structure, rock ramp and rock arch construction (stone sizes ranging from 3” to 48” D50), implementation of SESC, and site restoration.
