RFP-RS-2016-032 - Relocation Services

Summary of Specifications:
The City of Monroe (herein referred to as “City”), working in conjunction with the River Raisin National Battlefield Park Foundation (herein referred to as “Foundation”), is in the process of implementing the River Raisin Heritage Corridor – East Master Plan. The Plan contains numerous elements and programmatic recommendations which necessitate the acquisition of land including relocations within the Plan area. The City received a grant from the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (MDNR) in the amount of $4,986,200 for all facets of property acquisition including relocation services associated with the Master Plan. The City contracted with the Foundation to administer the grant on its behalf. While the agreement for these services will be with the City, the primary point of contact will be the Foundation Project Manager. While the grant is administered by the MDNR, policies and procedures established via Federal guidelines and the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will be utilized for this project.
