The City Clerk of Monroe, Michigan will receive electronic proposals until 10:00 a.m. (local time), on Monday, March 27, 2023, for Monroe Water Treatment Plant Motor & Drive Replacement, through the Michigan Intergovernmental Trade Network (MITN) online bidding website. The bids will be publicly open and read aloud via a Zoom on line meeting at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 27, 2023, so as to recommend an award at the Monroe City Council meeting on April 3, 2023. Anyone that would like to participate in the bid opening must send a request email to edward.sell@monroemi.gov to receive an email invitation to the opening.

- This specification calls for the removal of existing equipment, and the installation of an owner supplied Square D motor control cabinet (VFD), and a 250 HP open cooled motor complete in accordance with this specification.
- The bidding contractor must have at least 5 years experience of similar installations and startups with Square D drives, references are to be provided with the bid.
- All Work to be completed within 120 days of receipt of purchase order. Liquidated damages shall be assessed in the amount of $75.00 per day if the project is not completed within 120 days of the work start date.
- A mandatory onsite inspection is required for contractor bid acceptance.
