The City of Mt. Pleasant is seeking proposals from engineering firms for the design of the reconstruction of Brown Street from North Drive to High Street (approximately 0.23 miles). The reconstructed roadway section will include two 10’ wide lanes, parallel parking on both sides, curb and gutter, sidewalk ramp replacement, and associated storm sewer work. The project will utilize a grant from the MDOT Small Urban Program for 2022.

Qualifications Based Selection – The City of Mt. Pleasant staff will review all qualification packages submitted for this project. Due to closures and adjustments related to the COVID-19 virus, proposals are now required to be submitted electronically to a secure email at bid@mt-pleasant.org. Please make sure the subject line of your email clearly states the project you are bidding (“RFP – Engineering Design Services 2022 Brown St. Reconstruction”). To be considered as a qualified respondent, the proposal package must be submitted electronically and received by the City of Mt. Pleasant by 1:30 p.m., 2/9/21. Proposal packages must be electronically submitted to bid@mtpleasant.org. The RFPs will be opened and read aloud during a Zoom meeting on February 9, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. The Zoom meeting information is included in the attached addendum.
