Summary of Specifications:
The City of Oak Park, Michigan is seeking bids for the purchase and installation of a new UPS battery back up system for the City’s new City Hall and Public Safety Buildings. The UPS specifications are attached, no alternates will be considered. This bid is to include providing the unit and installing it. This project must conform to all Davis Bacon wage requirements, including employee interviews and certified payroll. Attached is also a drawing of the server room into which the unit is to be installed. This is an active construction site and hard hats and other safety equipment must be worn at all times by installation personnel. This site is under the supervision of the Construction Manager, Frank Rewold and Sons and all coordination for site access must go through them. The successful bidder shall provide a certificate of insurance on a form satisfactory to the City evidencing the following coverages and limits of liability: (1) General Liability Policy with (a) $1,000,000 aggregate combined single limit OR (b) $500,000 bodily injury per occurrence and $500,000 property damage per occurrence, (2) Worker's Compensation including Employer's Liability with compensation coverage in statutory limits and Employer's Liability with $100,000 per occurrence, and (3) Automobile Liability for owned, non-owned and hired vehicles with (a) (a) $1,000,000 aggregate combined single limit OR (b) $500,000 bodily injury per occurrence and $500,000 property damage per occurrence. The City of Oak Park shall be additional named insureds on the General Liability and Automobile Liability policies The sealed bids are due no later than April 30, 2013 at 11:00 am EST.
